The diagnosis is the beginning of our work. First, the watch is examined by the timekeeper-watchmaker team. Only then are we able to estimate the measures to carry out maintenance. You will receive a cost estimate from us and upon acceptance the timepiece maintenance service can begin.

Each of our maintenance tasks requires clearly defined steps. Removing the bracelet is the beginning, only then is the movement separated from the case in order to be reassembled later, fully serviced. Now the dismantling of the clockwork can begin. All components are examined with the greatest care. Parts that no longer meet requirements or are broken will be automatically replaced. Cleaning the components in an ultrasonic bath even removes contamination in hard-to-reach areas of a watch movement. After the parts have dried, the movement is assembled and lubricated. The timekeeper-watchmaker team then regulates the movement. Each case is also completely disassembled and polished and satinized according to brand specifications. It's time to assemble the case. Seals are replaced and at the same time the watertightness (if present) is checked. Shelling the clockwork is the next step. A new check of the chronometric precision with the subsequent fine adjustment restores the accuracy. After the housing base is screwed on, a waterproof test is carried out using a pressure test. After the inspection has been passed, the bracelet is mounted on the watch. Now it has to withstand a long-term functional test of at least a week. Among other things, we check each individual function several times, the accuracy in all positions, the winding via the crown and the automatic mechanism, the power duration and the appearance.

Only when all criteria have been carefully checked will the watch be tested again for waterproofness after a week. Soon it will be able to impress its owners again with its time precision and beauty. True to our motto: Long live the clock.
